Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students work hard all day and love their time using the computers to work on their differentiated learning paths. Not only is this a quiet way to cool down after recess, but the children are able to use the IReady computer program to practice skills in their areas need. This prepares them for their next IReady test that monitors their growth. But….we can’t have the kids without headphones keep the volume on as it is disruptive to others.

It would be SO helpful for all children in my class to have a pair of headphones, as it is always best if kids have what they need in school in spite of economic status.

We desperately need some rugged headphones to replace the ones that have broken.

Some families don’t purchase headphones for their children, because they do not have the means. (Our school does not supply them and are supplied by families.)
