My Students

I am the proud 5th Grade ELA teacher of one hundred and four energetic, vibrant, and driven students! The school year is under way and off to a great start. Each student comes into my classroom with different life experiences and stories and with that comes unique needs for each and every student.

My main goal for my students is to make the classroom a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment so that they have the greatest opportunity for success in their final year of elementary school!

In order to do so, I am reaching out for support in building up my classroom so that I can accommodate my students to the best of my ability. Just as I tell my students, teamwork makes the dream work! My students deserve the world and more, so please support me and my students to provide them with a rich learning environment!

My Project

Our fifth grade students are living in a 21st century world. We work on our Chromebooks for many tasks and activities daily. Most students are not able to access the online curriculum appropriately because they do not have headphones of their own. They cannot hear directions or important information from their reading program or videos on science and math curriculum. Having a class set of headphones would also stop many distractions within our classrooms especially with our special ed population that requires silent classrooms to produce their best work. Help us get a class set for all four classrooms in our fifth grade at SFE!
