The majority of my students are Hispanic and live in a high poverty area. Some of our students come to us speaking very little English, or speaking no English. Some of our students are physically and emotional traumatized, live in broken homes, have learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and live with family members other than parents. Coming to school for them is their safe haven.
I would like my kindergarten students to be able to have their individual headphones.
The ones I currently have are worn out and we have to share them. With the pandemic still wreaking havoc, I would like each of them to be able to use their own headphones.
Also, since nobody in my school knows what happened to my paint from my last project, I am requesting 3 more gallons (red, green and purple) for my students.
My Project
These headphones will help keep my students safe, and free from spreading germs. I am doing my very best to keep my classroom disinfected and germ-free.
Being able to have their own headphones will help keep my students from having to share their headphones.
It will also stop them from spreading their germs, and I wouldn’t have to keep disinfecting them every time they use them.
The paint and canvas will be for our next project. When I received my last project, 3 of my paint colors either went missing or I didn’t receive them. Hopefully, this will help make our next project more colorful.
