Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the last few years, Chromebooks have become an integral part of learning in Second Grade. Through various online programs, students receive individualized instruction and practice in the skills and strategies they need most.

The Califone Headphones will allow students to listen to the audio source privately without hearing distractions from other people or surrounding noise.

This request is essentially beneficial for concentration and will help with test taking.

I am also asking for social-emotional learning resources and rewards. The items I have picked out will provide opportunities for students to learn about emotions, actions, relationships, and decision making.

SEL increases self-awareness, academic achievement, and positive behaviors in and out of the classroom. I want my students to understand their emotions and know it is okay to feel the way that they do at certain times. My hope is that in the process of learning about their own feelings, they will develop kindness and empathy for their classmates. This will make for a wonderful learning environment for everyone.
