Help me give my students headphones with microphones so students can utilize their reading program in which they test their fluency reading aloud. These headphones also allow my students to use speech to text when writing.

My Students

Students in my school come from so many backgrounds and bring such life to the classroom. My students are struggling readers and although I try so hard to get them to try and read, they can still be reluctant.

We utilize the library and independent reading to help students find the types of books that they enjoy the most.

I love it when I read a book aloud to them, and they get so into the book that they are asking questions and making predictions without being prompted. Sometimes all it takes is a spark and someone to show them how to enjoy a great story.

My Project

My students are in a Title I district and many cannot afford headphones that will work with our reading program. For this reason, many of my students need to use classroom headphones for the reading program as well as writing tasks that allow them to use speech to text.

As of now, I do not have enough for all my students to be working on their reading program at the same time.

These headphones will allow each student in my class to have a headset and not have to worry about trying to add on the extra expense of headphones with a microphone.
