This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are learning a lot during academic time. However, students need a break and time to interact and play together. I have limited recess equipment for my students to use. More recess equipment such as jump ropes, balls, and bubbles, would allow my students to be able to play more activities with their friends.

Students get very excited when they have many options to choose from at recess.

After a fun recess, my students will be able to get back to work with their new pencils and sustain more focus during math. Recess is important to the student’s social and emotional well-being.
