Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The majority of my students come from low-income backgrounds and face various adversities in their life. They often do not have a way to learn how to make healthy snacks and meals.

My students want a way to learn valuable life skills by learning how to make healthy meals and snacks.

By supporting this project we will be able to teach my students how to make various crockpot meals, learning how to cook using an air fryer, and healthy snacks such as frozen yogurt, gelato, and fruit smoothies using the Creami. It will also give my students the opportunity to allow their creativity to shine by transforming unusable space in the classroom into chalkboard and window murals showcasing what they are learning in science.
