Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Almost all of my students eat breakfast in my classroom. We are fortunate that our district provides free food for ALL of our students but sadly I wish it wasn’t full of dyes and so much added sugar.

My students range from being five to eight year olds.

Their brains are still developing and I want to provide healthier choices for them.

I want to provide organic cereals, granola bars, dry fruit, and foods with less sugar or no sugar and zero dyes.

I want my students to learn about healthier choices and be able to consume healthier choices!
