Healthy Snacks to Fuel Healthy Academics

Help me give my students granola bars, crackers, snack mix, and other healthy snacks to help meet their basic needs so they can focus on learning.

My Project

I love that my students love to learn. Unfortunately, for many of them, hunger often gets in the way. Many do not eat breakfast at home, and the school breakfast does not sustain them until lunch. The granola bars, crackers, beef sticks, and other snacks will help calm their hunger until their next meal.

Research has shown that students’ brains are not equipped for learning when the child is hungry.

My goal for this project is to have healthy snacks on hand to help satisfy students’ hunger so that our class can focus on learning.
