My students are a great group of children who are excited to come to school everyday ready to work hard, to try to be their best and to lift each other up. I work hard to support each one as an individual learner and a special person. Our school is a Title 1 school, so nearly 100% of students receive a free or reduced-price lunch. I appreciate each one of my students and how hard each one works to improve as a learner and a person. One of the best parts of being their teacher is witnessing successes in not only classwork, but also in character.
My Project
A healthy snack break will go a long way to helping students at a Title 1 school fuel their brains and keep them working and improving on reading, writing, and math skills. My 2nd grade students are kind, enthusiastic, diverse, and hard working. For a variety of different reasons many of my students need extra care and support academically, emotionally, and socially. I enjoy the daily challenge of helping and guiding these fantastic students to make growth in all areas and encouraging them to be the best they can be.
