Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are full of excitement for learning. They love to learn through movement, songs, exploration, and hands-on experiments and materials. Students in my class are valued, and we promote a learning environment where students learn to value each other.

Many of my students are English Language Learners and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

However, this is not an obstacle to success in our classroom. We build a classroom community where all students can learn, succeed, and celebrate each others' strengths.

My Project

Many of my students come from low-income households. They rely on the school for their meals. During school breaks, many families struggle to provide their children with healthy food.

I would love to be able to help my students with this basic need by sending a bag of food to each of my students to keep them nourished during the upcoming Spring break.

These snacks would be such a blessing to my students and their families.
