My Project
I am a teacher at a public high school that helps students to advance in Health Science, Math, and Science. Frequently I am amazed by our passionate students who are motivated to work hard and make progress everyday. My students are swimming in homework and packets of student materials everyday. I understand they all want to achieve a high GPA and get accepted in great colleges. However they need to spend more time to take care their physical and mental health condition. Research suggests kids and teens should get 60 minutes or more of moderate to vigorous physical activity daily. Not getting plenty physical exercise could cause mental stress, and even development of some serious health conditions.
My goal is to inspire teens to engage in more physical activities such as playing with yo-yos.
It will help students to exercise more, learn to build teams, collaborate with others, and release the mental stress. A healthy life style should start with building good habits such as moving your body and communicate with others everyday.
