This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My special education students are all from a very poor school district and don't always eat fruit and vegetables. This garden is such a fantastic way to introduce them to different varieties of fruits and vegetables to develop a better eating plan to set them on the road to a healthier future.

This tower garden will be a fantastic hands-on tool that is so essential for special education students.

Growing produce the students get to see and taste the results of their effort and makes it more meaningful and brings science to life for them.
