This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The PASS program, (Positive Approach to Student Success) allows our students to thrive with their mainstream peers. Our students are developing their social-emotional and behavioral life skills. We are keeping our classroom a safe space by providing students with food security, which is essential for keeping them motivated and healthy both physically and mentally.

Many of our students’ families struggle to provide enough food, and as a result, our students may go hungry during the school day.

This can lead to a lack of focus and concentration, which can affect their academic performance and even their long-term success. By donating to our classroom, you can help provide students with healthy snacks, giving them the energy and nutrients they need to succeed in school.

This project is an excellent way to ensure that our students' basic needs are met, allowing them to focus on their education. You can help keep our students’ tummies full and their minds ready to learn.
