This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hello, I will have a rewarding opportunity to teach thirty wonderful fourth graders this year. My students are unique individuals that are very enthusiastic about learning and our school environment. The majority of the students live in the inner city of Atlanta, Georgia. Unfortunately, the majority of the students have a lack of resources inside the classroom to help them become successful . Many of the students strive for the best in spite of their low- socioeconomic status . As an educator, I want all of my students to succeed and have a prosperous academic school year.
My Project
It is evident that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I am a witness of my students eating an unbalanced diet for breakfast daily such as candy, soda and chips. I want to expose my students to new healthy options and choices for breakfast such as Nutri- Grain Cereal Bars, water, apple juice , natural fruit bars and nuts. Furthermore, I want to show my students the importance of nourishing our bodies with healthy choices for academic success and energy. In addition, I want my students to worry less about missing breakfast and engage in the academic learning process.
