Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students have the opportunity to play and have snacks it allows for them to reenergize their brains, they are more likely to be able to focus on the lessons being taught in the classroom.

My students don't get the opportunity to have Slim Jims as a snack or have the playground equipment like the hula hoops to play with during recess.

I also think it's important to teach our students about good hygiene. This will prevent them from being teased or having other students not wanting to be near them.

Most of my students have two parents working just to make ends meet, yet they come to school wanting to learn and with gratitude in their hearts.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
