Healthy and Strong All Year Long

My students need disinfectant wipes, tissues, and healthy snacks like granola bars, crackers, and fruit snacks to help them stay healthy and strong all year long.

My Students

My students bring such happiness to my life, and I am beyond blessed to be their teacher. We seriously have some of the best students in our small town elementary school. My students show up each and every day, and work hard. They come from all different backgrounds, and continually surprise me by their tenacity, willpower, and skill. They are learners, explorers, leaders, questioners, thinkers, and so much more.

We are over 60% free or reduced price lunch, but together our rural community, parents, and staff work together to get everything we need.

I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.

My Project

Hunger should not affect the day to day learning of my students.

Many of my students come from low-income families, and thus do not come to school with a snack for the day.

The fruit snacks, Goldfish crackers, and granola bars, provided by this project will help to ensure that the students don't go hungry during the day, thus improving their learning. Having a nice variety of healthy snacks available to the students each and every day will make a huge difference in their day to day lives. Also, having items like Kleenex and Clorox wipes will help to keep our classroom and our noses clean and healthy.
