Healthy and Happy in 2018!

My students need some healthy choices for snack time. They also need some helpful products to help them stay healthy and active like the Clorox wipes, and the Gaiam balls/mats for more flexible seating/movement options.

My Students

My class is a mix of boys and girls with a variety of learning styles and interests. They are an amazing bunch of kids that I enjoy being with each day. I work hard with my fellow co-workers, families and community to make sure that my students have all the things that they need.

In our small town, over 60% of our students are on free or reduced lunch, so I always want to help wherever I can.

This project would open up great opportunities for us and help many of them be happier and healthier for the new year!

I am so thankful to have such a wonderful support system from people like you! Thank you for helping me provide for my second graders! We appreciate you!

My Project

We have a very fun and energetic group of students in room 109 this year!

Our snack supply is empty and I want to restock it again.

Having a snack each day helps my students to refuel themselves so they can continue to work hard for the rest of their day.

We have flexible seating in here and we need a few replacement balls for our chairs, and we need some new mats to help us get the wiggles out while we learn. Flexible seating has been a wonderful option for my second graders as they are able to move when they need to and therefore, they can pay attention better in class too.

We also need to wipe down our flexible seating, tables and desks each day to keep the level of germs down. This time of year, many students are out because of illness so we will use those Clorox wipes to cut down on those nasty germs. :)
