Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have an awesome bunch of bright, energetic, and sweet learners. They come to school every day ready to learn, tackle new goals, and are ready to succeed. They are willing to take risks to further themselves both academically and emotionally. Although they may not have much financially, they are rich in academics and strive to meet daily goals. I am excited to come to school every day to see their bright smiles and not only to teach them but learn from them as well.
My Project
Sniffle, sniffle, aaaaaaachooooooo! Looks like my little first graders are still learning how to be safe from the cold and flu. I want to protect my students from getting sick and missing important lessons by creating a germ free environment, (or at least mostly germ free!) I have already battled the flu myself, and have several students absent due to illness. I want to make sure that we use the disinfecting wipes daily as well as the handsoap to help prevent the spead of germs. I will use the carpet cleaner as well at least once a month to secure a safe, clean learning environment so my students will get the most out of the school year by attending every day!
