Help me give my students cleaning supplies such as Magic Erasers and paper towels to keep them healthy as well as balls, slap bracelets, magnets, masks and stools to help keep them engaged and active.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students love to come to school and they love to learn. However, teaching in an urban district which is a low-income area where over 95% of our students receive free or reduced-price breakfast/lunch can be challenging. Most of my students come from a background of trauma and require not only academic support, but social and emotional support throughout the day. My goal is to make their school experience meaningful and fun while also setting high expectations and providing a safe, loving environment for all of my students no matter their circumstances.
The materials I am requesting will help me in several ways throughout my classroom. I have many students of varying levels both academically and behaviorally. Many have a hard time sitting and learning due to an ADHD diagnosis. The stools will allow them to move while they are on task and focused for the remainder of the year. The balls, slap bracelets, superhero masks, magnets and other items will allow my students to enjoy rewards at the end of each week leading up to June. Many times a simple little incentive can keep the most challenging students on task and excited to earn something. At the same time, they need to be held accountable for their academic portion and their contribution to the classroom. By providing the students with paper towels and cleaning items they can take pride in their classroom and their individual area. Steve Martin once said, "Be so good, they can't ignore you", i want this to translate in all areas of my students lives in the classroom and in their communities. It can start within our classroom.
