This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My name is Ms.Serrato. I have been working for more than 20 years as an elementary school teacher in a low-income area where resources are limited. Despite, the lack of resources and the challenges my students face on a daily basis, they do not give up on their goals. Their dedication, determination, eagerness to learn, and resilience motivates them and me to strive for the best! For this reason, acquiring the necessary resources would benefit my students academically and physically.

One way I maintain my students motivated, healthy, active and fit is through Physical Education.

Having the essential P.E. equipment will help my students explore their athletic abilities, build their teamwork, leadership, and motor skills. My students' health and well-being are my priority. Healthy students tend to do better in school.
