Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In our Kindergarten-First Grade classroom, we believe in working hard, doing our best, and never giving up! For many of these students, this is the first year they have been in the classroom and are loving getting to experience school in person and are making new and great friendships.
These students are compassionate, supportive, and motivated!
They readily share words of encouragement and consistently celebrate their classmates for each and every accomplishment! This class of students truly care for others and this shows up in their kindness each and every day!
My Project
With this project, we will have access to enough supplies to maintain a healthy and safe classroom during the COVID pandemic. Our district is back in person full time and as COVID is spiking in Colorado, it is so important that we have the correct supplies to keep our kids safe and healthy. By having these supplies, we will be able to support students in staying safe and healthy, allowing them to stay in school and not miss out on important learning and socialization. Our ultimate goal is to keep our students in the classroom as much as possible!
