Health Projects to Capture Creative Learners

My students need a cricut machine to help design health related posters, shirt and health projects. This is a way to teach them how to use technology while incorporating healthy habits.

My Students

My students are special, strong and excited to learn about staying healthy despite our recent circumstances due to Hurricane Harvey.

Amazing students who are eager to learn and to start their school year even with the recent devastation of the hurricane.

Our school is a community school, located in the heart of the neighborhood. Some children walk, ride their bikes or ride the bus to school. Our school is currently sharing our building with another one of our elementary schools that was flooded. Due to the devastation from Hurricane Harvey we are slowly trying to replenish our school and help our students and their families regain some normalcy.

As a nurse in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with the necessary supplies to keep them healthy.

My Project

We have the most creative learners and they are going to be so excited to see their designs come to life by using the new Cricut. To capture and engage a child's mind, it is so important to incorporate creativeness.

The cricut will allow the students to design health posters, shirts, and designs.

This gives the students a way to learn by an interactive way on how to become more healthy and the importance of always being healthy. Learning these important resources now will allow the students to develop good habits now that will last a lifetime as well as educate others on what they've learned.

After suffering so much after the horrific storm of Hurricane Harvey, it will be a way for students to use their creative minds and to look forward to using their imaginations and seeing their designs and projects through out the school.
