Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a bright and innovative group of young people who represent over 20 different countries and speak dozens of languages. They are residents of Queens, New York which is the most diverse place on the planet!

My students are tech-savvy creative minds who take courses both in high school and at a local college to pursue careers in engineering, technology, and energy technology services.

My school partners with a local college to provide our students with opportunities to earn college credits, participate in industry-specific internships, and earn a college degree within two years of high school.

My Project

These two iPads and cases will make a huge difference in my Health classes. My students will be able to access educational information from websites, videos, poetry, articles, and stories that will increase their learning about various Health topics.

Students will also be able to utilize the iPads to work on class projects where they develop materials to distribute to other students for the purpose of Health Promotion.

Students throughout the school will benefit from the Health promotion materials that Health class students produce with these new iPads. This technology will also help to launch my students into their future professions and be career ready.
