My Students

I teach sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade band! My students are immensely excited about being in band!

My students are passionate, eager, and exceptional learners.

They are some of the most caring and open students I have ever witnessed.

These students work incredibly hard each and every day to become the best musicians that they can. We work on skills that are about so much more than music. My class teaches valuable life skills that will enhance learning beyond just my room!

My Project

The chairs that are currently being used by our middle school band program do not promote great health and wellness for our students in every single grade level. Many of these chairs are broken, misaligned, have missing seats, and create issues for our students while playing their instruments.

Having the appropriate furniture for our students will help them to remain healthy because they will be able to utilize their lungs properly and will also be able to keep a long spine!

Posture is one of the most important things when it comes to the health and wellness of musicians! If we don't take care of our students and their physical health when they are younger, the habits will carry into adulthood. These chairs will help our students become posture perfect adults!
