This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

HSES will need health, hygiene, and food items to support our students who have difficulties managing home and food insecurities. We know that our students learn best when they are taken care of and are able to eat. Can a hungry person get through the day when they are focused on their next snack or meal? As adults, we struggle with that feeling too!

For our students to be successful in school we want to ensure that some of their basic needs in and outside of school are being met.

When students are taken care of they are comfortable in class and ready to learn. HSES can be a beacon for our students' security and health.
