My Project

In our DAEP classroom, many students are below grade level in reading and need extra support to catch up. We use Read180, a self-paced literacy program that helps students improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence. To fully engage with Read180, students need headphones with built-in microphones so they can read aloud to the program and get real-time feedback. Right now, we don’t have enough for all students, which limits their progress.

These headphones will allow all students to participate in multimedia assignments, online lessons, and research activities without distractions.

Providing these headphones will help students focus, build literacy skills, and stay engaged in learning — giving them the tools to succeed academically and regain confidence in the classroom. Every student will benefit from this equipment, making learning accessible, interactive, and equitable. Your support will have an immediate and lasting impact on our students’ education!
