Headphones...to Use in 5th Grade Classrooms!

My Students

We have about 80 students in 5th grade who come from a variety of backgrounds. Some students have parents that struggle financially and could use help with purchasing headphones so they are able to complete some web-based programs that will enhance their education. Having their own pair makes a big difference in the classroom.

In order to fully implement and create success with programs we currently use, Lexia and Dreambox, students with access to headphones can truly utilize the individualized web-based programs.

My Project

Having more headphones would help provide students the chance to succeed in a few web-based programs that, for the most part, in a class of 27 5th graders, (about 80 5th grade students in all) are needed daily for hearing and concentration to do their best because of class size and classroom student individual space. Any help with reading on a computer seems to help students be more involved and invested in their own learning. Each student is trying to achieve Level 18 with Lexia and headphones would help make it a little easier.

Any help with headphones would be greatly appreciated!
