Headphones to Increase Educational Outcomes!

Help me give my students access to education without technological barriers! We have ordered headphones in the past, but they have broken within 3 months. After hours of research, these headphones are shown to be durable and last!

My Students

Eric Jensen once wrote “You can’t change what’s in your students’ bank account, but you can change what’s in their emotional account." While I try to fill their emotional accounts on a daily basis, my wonderful, vibrant, excitable, smart students are still in need of your help!

Our 4th grade class is filled with mathematicians, artists, readers, writers, scientists and a whole lot of love.

They are capable of amazing things! However, we lack many high-quality materials that more affluent districts have access to. Many of my students live below the poverty line and come from backgrounds that would make your heartstrings play a sad, sad melody. A large percentage are Native American and have been systemically disadvantaged as well. Despite many facing levels of adversity that most adults will never experience, they still come to school excited and ready to learn. My goal with this fundraiser is to help increase access and give them a fighting chance in a world that, in many ways, is stacked against them.

My Project

Many lessons I teach are blended learning -- whether it is watching videos as part of a research project, listening to meditation music to help us regulate our emotions, or listening to an e-reader that helps increase access to materials, technology is essential to learning!

Unfortunately, many of our students are unable to bring headphones to class due to monetary constraints.

I thought I had found a good deal on some at the beginning of the year, but all of those have unfortunately broken due to use.

The headphones selected for this project were researched extensively by myself and found to be the best option as far as price and durability go. By donating to our project, you will be directly contributing to increasing educational access AND outcomes!
