Headphones to Help Scientists Focus!

Help me give my students headphones to use in our Science classroom for years to come.

My Project

Having headphones in the classroom helps to limit the distractions of hearing others voices or other computers when students are trying to focus. Headphones are a benefit to students who are watching videos to help visualize cellular processes, reviewing a lesson on atoms that was missed to due an absence or using an online Physics simulation with audio.

The donated headphones will increase student achievement by allowing students the ability to access resources at their own pace.

Currently, when showing a video to the entire class, students do not have the ability to pause and/or rewatch as needed. With headphones, it will allow diverse learners to comfortably learn.

Although some students do have their own earphones, it is not something available to ALL students. A class set for my classes of up to 35 would ensure that all students have access.
