My Project

As a SPED teacher, technology is huge. My special education students require headphones as an accommodation to comply with their IEP's.

Theses headphones will be used as a tool to aid my students in accessing printed material which they would otherwise not be able to read.

Every subject in school requires reading. These headphones allow my students to understand and read text on digital platforms like Oncourse, Zearn, Khan Academy, Imagine Learning, Google Classroom, Amplify Science, and Clever. There are never enough students with their own headphones, so I house headphones for my special education students to use. I also often allow nonspecial education students to borrow headphones because most students don't own their own pair and they can't be successful in class if they can't read and understand printed text.
