Headphones Help Students Stay Focused While Learning On laptops.

Help me give my students a better experience while using computers. Our classes use computers every week. Students do better when they have headphones that work well. Several of our headphones have broken and we are in need.

My Project

I am asking for a few class sets of headphones to make sure that we have an adequate number for our students here at Lone Tree. I currently work in the computer lab as the Intervention Prep teacher. When students come to me, they work on iReady Reading and Math, which are online academic programs that differentiate the lessons students work on. Several lessons require students to listen to instructions, stories, and word problems. With up to 30 students in a class at one time, each student must have a working set of headphones so they can stay focused and do their best on their individualized lessons. Unfortunately, our headphones have not lasted. Since I have 19 classes of 25-31 students every week, the headphones are used a lot. It is very expensive to order new headphones through our technology department, and it has taken several months just to receive some new headphones. I am hoping to start the new year with brand-new headphones and have a small surplus when headphones start to break. I will also help supply teachers with headphones so they can have a class set for when they work on computers in their classrooms.
