My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They love learning and excel using many of the arts as we sing, draw, paint, etc. We also use technology in our classroom as we are living in the 21st century. I want to prepare them for the future. They live in a great area. Some of them are new to our country and learning English. It is a very diverse class socioeconomically and in levels of learning.

My Project

In our classroom, we use math software that is interactive. Students are tested and put on their level to work through the holes they have in their learning. My students are using the headphones with the computer software. These will help them to focus and understand better. It is very distracting listening to other computers when they are working. They will be able to tune out the rest of the classroom to listen and perform better on the assignments given. They will not have the extra noise and interruptions from the other computers in the classroom. These will be especially helpful for those who struggle to concentrate.
