I service/teach an additional 12 ESL students as well as my own class of 26 students. They are struggling to learn the English language and would benefit greatly from having these social studies books to read from. Holding books in their hands and following along while reading has a greater benefit for students than the teacher reading from one book and projecting the pictures on the screen. Our school is new and is desperate need of books to match core curriculum.
