My Students

Do you remember when you were a child and you would question everything in the world around you? That is exactly how my second grade students are every day at school.

In this class we are a family and we treat each other with kindness and respect.

My favorite thing about my students is their resilience. Their first grade year was very hard for them because of jumping back and forth from virtual learning to in person schooling. They came into their second grade year positive and ready to grow.

My Project

I teach at a Title I School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

I have an awesome group of 2nd graders who are so eager to learn and love being in the classroom.

I have a class set of iPads supplied by my district that we use frequently for school work and tests. It is becoming difficult to maintain a calm environment when a lot of children do not have headphones. Each student needs their own pair of headphones so we avoid spreading germs and we do not disturb each other while we work.
