My Project

One of the favorite times of the day for both myself and my class tends to be our Work Time. During work time, students engage in independent tasks around the room. They have a set amount of work they are required to complete, and then they are in charge of choosing research, work or building projects that appeal to them.

With kids actively engaged in so many forms of learning all around the room during work time, students learn quickly of their impact on those around them.

Sometimes, students who are on their computers during work time, want to watch a video that pertains to their work but not necessarily the work of others around them. This is where headphones come in! I have a few headphones, but especially as we are still being really careful about the health and safety of many, we really need a pair of headphones for each student. With their own set, students will be able to maintain their health and the health of those around them while they are using their laptops/iPads during work time.
