This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach middle school which means my students are bursting with energy and hormones. Headphones give students the ability to work without distraction so they can keep their mind on their classwork. We'll use them whenever we do research or when we're doing writing tasks on the computer.

My active 7th graders love to talk, but it makes it hard for them to focus on their work--especially when it's harder research like our Model United Nations Projects.

This also give students who can't think in noisy environments the chance to find quiet and make progress.
