Headphones for My ELLs

Help me give my students head phones! The head phones with the microphones will help my students practice their English skills in a new program we will be using next school year!

My Project

I am requesting head phones with the microphones will help my students practice their English skills. In our school, our students are very hard workers and they are very excited to learn every day when they come to class. We are a very diverse school; at times we will have students that speak at least two different languages, where English is not their first language. Many of my students' parents will have more than one job so that they can support their family. Even though they are not in their child's life as much as they want to, the parents still have high expectations for their own children. Because of their home life they look to us to help their student grow and become successful in life.

In our school, we are always striving to do better, and better our education.

We tell my students that education is the only thing that can not be taken away from them. With this mindset, our students are always trying to better themselves by setting goals to do so. They may have a hard lifestyle at home, but they love coming to a school where it is a safe learning place.

In my classroom I have many languages that are spoken. I have a classroom of 30 students with more then eight different languages spoken. In order to help all of my students I am looking at getting good headphones that have microphones so they can continue to improve their English skills .
