My Project

I am a Third Grade Teacher, our school is a Title 1 school, where students receive free lunch. Most of them belong to low socio-economic neighborhood/income. Headphones are one of the most important supplies my students need in the classroom. They enjoy engaging in online learning activities which help them a lot to enhance their skills both in Reading and Math.

In addition to this, they also need headphones during any online assessment.

With headphones, students are able to focus with the assessments they are taking. Some of my students still have to develop their reading capabilities, they understand well the stories/word problems when they turn on the audio from their laptop and hear the clues provided for slow readers.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
