My Students

My students are kind, caring, inquisitive, funny, eager to learn, artistic, and all things wonderful. They bring so much joy into our classroom each and every day they walk through the doors. They are not afraid to be vulnerable and know that making mistakes is a part of learning and growing.

My students come from diverse backgrounds and bring with them a variety of needs, gifts, and challenges.

Many of my students come from low-income families, single parent homes, are learning English for the first time, or are facing circumstances that make school challenging. I am constantly looking for ways to better reach my little learners. Thank you!

My Project

My students come from diverse backgrounds and are working at independent levels in some areas. Our classroom has a set of 14 iPads to use to enhance instruction, but many of the headphones we inherited are broken, have missing parts, or are missing entirely.

We have students who are learning English and use iPads to help catch up on their vocabulary.

We also have students who work independently on math instruction with specially designed math lessons to fill gaps in their learning or to move ahead if they are ready.

We desperately need enough headphones for all of our iPads to be used at the same time.
