In my kindergarten class, there is a huge level of energy and enthusiasm to be part of the Google classroom. I have 19 Kindergartners. They are passionate about using technology. My students come from high poverty and high crime areas. They qualify for the Title 1 Program. My kindergarten students thrive on using technology as a learning tool.
My kindergarten class gives students an opportunity to grow, learn and explore the world through technology.
We spend the year exploring new foundation skills and concepts in all the subjects. The students are excited about going on a new learning adventure everyday in the Google Classroom.
In my exciting kindergarten class, we have Chromebooks, iPads and desktop computers all running at the same time! We desperately need headphones.
Having headphones for each student would truly empower our class and ultimately personalize learning for all students.
With all these devices going at the same time, this is truly creating a learning barrier in our class. If my students each had a set of headphones, it would immediately minimize unnecessary distractions and help my students focus their attention on learning.
We engage in online learning experiences each day. My students are often reading on RAZ kids, Tumblebooks, First in Math and Ebooks. While engaging in differentiated learning experiences, my students need all their privacy. They would use these headphones with microphones to listen to Ebooks, record themselves reading and take quizzes.
My students truly love learning. Therefore, I want to empower and equip them the tools needed to be successful.
