Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are enthusiastic to learn and explore. They use RazKids, Lexia, Dream Box, and other educational learning games on a daily basis. These programs provide sounds, information, stories, and more for my students. We currently have some headphones, but after a couple of school years, some no longer work.

Headphones would be beneficial for my students, in order for them to stay focused as they concentrate while working independently on their learning games and assessments.

Headphones can help dampen surrounding noises that can distract my young students, with different learning styles and needs. When we had a complete classroom set, there was a difference in the concentration of all the students. These educational games are extremely important for my students because they are learning English as a new language. I would love to be able to provide my current students and other students in the upcoming years, a class set of headphones to guarantee that each student has access to a pair when they need it.
