This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a resilent immigrants and refugees who are learning English.
The headphones with microphones will allow my second year students to record their own voices, listen, and make changes to their pronunciation and vocabulary.
They also allow students to listen to my recorded voice individually to hear speaking examples and respond to comprehension questions. They will allow us to make the best of classroom technology including Mote and Flip.
My newcomer students will use the headphones to listen to my recordings of the alphabet and vocabulary words. They will record themselves spelling their names, reading phonics words, and their summative project about their lives.
