My Project

My fifth graders are an energetic, book-loving, multitalented, group who are eager to learn! Many of them are first and second-generation immigrants from around the globe.

My new school is located in East Flushing, Queens, New York.

The students are eager to take part in any lesson or task. When they work independently on their laptops, many of the programs have sound. Having headphones for each of them to use would greatly impact their ability to concentrate on their work.

As we head out on our first field trip, clipboards will be a great addition. Students will easily take notes on what they observe and make lasting memories.

Book bins and other organizational tools make for a more efficient classroom environment, and therefore, a more productive one!
