Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are precious gems that love learning. These resources will help my students gains important kindergarten readiness skills. The goal is to have the students become more prepared both academically and emotionally for kindergarten. Manipulatives increase student engagement and help children understand and remember new concepts. The sensory letters textured surfaces provides touch stimulation and help with letter recognitions, letter sounds and beginning sounds. The math and the literacy items would make a difference in my students learning by providing cognitive and noncognitive skills that would help preschoolers adapt to the school environment and engage in learning.
