Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into school with beautiful smiles and are eager to learn. I want to provide them with the best tools possible to be successful. My school is a dual-language elementary school with a focus on nurturing bilingual, bi-literate and multicultural children.

Many of the students come from very low-income homes, one-parent households, and it is unbelievable the hurdles they have been able to overcome.

With your support, these students will grow up to be bilingual, responsible, and caring community leaders.

My Project

Coming to school sick or with head lice not only makes it hard for students and teachers to focus, but it also makes symptoms worse and spreads them to other peers.

I want my students to feel healthy and strong in order to be able to learn and be at their very best.

I want to work on PREVENTING things like lice and colds. This is how we plan on using the items you are supporting:

The SoCozy Boo! Lice Scaring Spray will be used to scare away lice and keep us lice free.

The thermometer will be used for checking temperatures, to make sure that students are feeling okay and are 24-hour fever-free after going home with a high temperature.

The Lysol Air Fresher Sprays & Disinfectant will keep our room clean, smelling good, and constantly fighting all those nasty germs. They will also be used with the latex-free gloves to help us disinfect the bathroom after student use.

The Number Spots will give students assigned spots in line so that they aren't too close to other students, spreading germs and viruses.

We need to be healthy and clean in order to succeed. Please help us get the supplies we need to be successful.
