Help me give my students a gyroscope, a terrarium, magnets hands-science experiences and more, that our curriculum does not supply.

Neill deGrasse Tyson famously said that the reason that he is the renowned astrophysicist that he is is because of his teachers. He doesn't name them but says that they noticed his interest in science, and gave him books and resources to sate his curiosity. Our curriculum for math and reading is phenomenal for teaching kids number sense and learning to read. However, they fall a tiny bit short when it comes to the sciences.
Last year, an ELAR lesson segued us to a video about the gyroscope.
My students were mesmerized! They sat and watched it non-stop. I'd say with the same fascination that DeGrasse Tyson had when his teacher saw that he liked science. I'd like to set up a science center in the room for my kinders. The gyroscope will be the centerpiece, along with a terrarium, magnets, and a photo of Neil deGrass Tyson himself for good measure!
