Having Fun With Manipulatives

Help me give my students the opportunity to follow directions, sequences, and concentrate on completing tasks with different manipulatives. My students will also learn how to organize and the manipulatives on the correct shelf.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The specific items that I am requesting will make a difference in my students’ lives because when my students play with manipulatives it requires concentration and thought. It will encourage my students to work individually or in small groups.

This project aims to enhance my students’ fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and visual discrimination.

To help with the recognition of shapes, colors, textures, and the comparison of similarities and differences, matching, classification, and pattern recognition. Having a new shelf can help my students clean up and organize the materials when they are finished using them.

What makes my students special is that they are excited to learn new things and they appreciate when they have new supplies that arrive in the classroom.
