My Project

I will be using the math practice journals to refine kids’ math skills each day…with challenging activities that target important math standards in operations, algebraic thinking, geometry, and more! Even though we are in the last quarter, I still need to challenge them and have them ready for the skills they will need for third grade. With this math practice, I use whiteboards and it will be nice for every child in my class to have an eraser.

I teach in a low-income community, and it is very important for the children to have the "brain power" to focus on academics.

The snacks that I requested will help them be ready to take on the day.

As we finish the last quarter, some of the projects that we will be doing require coloring with the basic colors. We have lost so many of them (crayons and colored pencils) that having a refill box will help the children to complete their projects in "colorful" style.

Having these supplies will help support the children in my classroom to achieve their goals and be ready to move on to the next grade level.
