Having a Snack Will Help Me Complete My Pack

Help me give my students a daily snack while they are completing their learning packets at home during our school closure.

My Students

Our students are 400 eager to learn children each and every day. With being completely off guard in our school closing, we as teachers stress over children to continue to learning through their printed learning packets and teacher read aloud videos. We also worry about nutritional needs since many students not only eat breakfast and lunch but also dinner at our afterschool program. Our school is 100 percent free breakfast and lunch and a high percentage of students are in foster care or being raised by other than natural parents with little or no income.

My Project

By donating to our students' snack needs, you not only fill their belly but will also help them maintain their attention to learn and retain their knowledge. Many of our students depend on the school to feed them daily. Their families do not have money for the extras. Our students have 100 percent free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students are living with grandparents, aunts and uncles, or in foster care and not with the natural parents. These families are on fixed incomes. We are a rural county and people also partake of local pantries for extra help at this time of need. Some snacks I have requested are goldfish crackers, Chewy Gummies, trailmix and more. We only have a small store to shop in with no grocery store within 30 miles. Your donation would fill a need and a belly that is ready to learn,
